Every December a dedicated group of intrepid neighbors decorate the large fir tree on SE 13th (between Bybee and Rural) with festive holiday lights. Meet your neighbors at the tree at 6:30.  Or, for the hale and hearty, join choir members from Moreland Presbyterian Church at the Sellwood Community House between 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. for hot chocolate, then head down SE 13th Avenue for the 6:30 tree lighting.
