For over 35 years, SMILE has presented summer concerts in our neighborhood parks as part of Portland Parks & Rec’s summer music program. Because park concerts were cancelled again this year, SMILE is hosting a free neighborhood music series. Mark your calendar!

Saturday, August 28 –Pete Krebs & The Catnip Brothers– Bakersfield HonkyTonk and Western Swing – underwritten by a donation from Tom Dwyer Automotive

A few details:
In compliance with the current Oregon-wide mandate, all attendees 5 years of age and older, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask.
There will be some shaded areas at each location. We’ll have limited seating available so consider bringing your own chair. Pick up food at one of our neighborhood restaurants or bring a picnic basket from home and head on over.
Let’s have some fun — TOGETHER — this summer!
KEEP THE MUSIC COMING! DONATE HERE.
Please help support this and future SMILE-sponsored music events — every dollar helps! If you make a $150 donation, you’ll be listed as an underwriter/sponsor of one of the 12 concerts! Contributing businesses can have a table at that concert to connect with the neighborhood. With your support we can continue to gather for free, live, outdoor music in the neighborhood!
