Representatives from Portland Parks will discuss their decision to remove lighting from Sellwood Park and Sellwood Riverfront Park, and their plans to rectify the situation.  More details will be posted when available.

Please join your neighbors this coming Saturday – 5/27 – at Oaks Bottom Overlook (OBO), the pollinator pocket park where SE Bybee meets SE 13th. We will be tidying up the pocket park and preparing it for installation of the pollinator interpretive panel. Please bring your own gloves and any hand tools for weeding - we'll bring donuts! The Stewardship of Natural Amenities Committee (SNAC) Stewardship Saturdays are the 4th Saturday of the month from 9 - 11 am.

Please join Portland Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Oaks Bottom for a day of mulching new plants and invasive plant removal at Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.  We will mulching around native plants that were planted this past season to help with their survival and will potentially remove weeds to improve habitat for local wildlife. Please dress for the weather, wear layers, wear sturdy, close toe shoes, and bring a personal water bottle and snacks. Tools, gloves, and project instruction will be provided.
