We will have a special Friends of Sellwood Community Center meeting for the sole purpose of drafting a letter that SMILE can send to the City in support of the Sellwood Community Center.  We need to have this meeting at this time so the SMILE Board can approve it at their February 20th meeting.

After years of careful planning, the City of Portland's efforts to pave the "Sellwood Gap"  in the Springwater Corridor Trail will get underway this month! Impacts to neighborhood livability associated with non-local cut-through traffic accessing the Sellwood Bridge is a longstanding and increasing issue for residents near the bridge. This project proposes to mitigate those impacts through constructing speed bumps on select streets.  PLEASE PLAN ON STOPPING BY BETWEEN 6 PM AND 8 PM TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT AND PROVIDE YOUR COMMENTS.
