Transportation Committee Meeting

6:00 p.m. – Introductions and announcements – Scott Kelly, Chairman, Transportation Committee.
6:10 p.m. – 17th & Ochoco bike/ped Crossing – Michael Hayes. Michael will update the group on the status of plans by Metro and PBOT to provide a safer bike/ped crossing at this gap in the Springwater Corridor.
6:20 p.m. – Tacoma Street & vicinity cut through traffic and congestion – Scott Kelly, Charles Kingsley. Update from PBOT on Bridge Status. Discuss potential speed bumps on 11th between Nehalem and Spokane.
6:30 p.m. – New crossing signal at Bybee & 19th – Scott Kelly, Edward LeClaire. Continue discussion of possible recommendations to improve this crossing.
6:40 p.m. – Tacoma and northbound Hwy 99E on-ramp/off-ramp – Scott Kelly. Discuss latest correspondence from ODOT regarding safety concerns at this intersection.
6:50 p.m. – Proposed parking requirements of the Residential Infill Project – Scott Kelly. The committee will review the optional off-street parking proposal of the Residential Infill Project.
7:10 p.m. – Future agenda items.
