Proposed Zoning Change Near 5515 SE Milwaukie

6:00 – 6:05: Welcome, Zoom etiquette, ground rules, purpose of meeting: The purpose of the meeting is for attendees to learn about the proposed zoning change at and near 5515 SE Milwuakie (see below) and the review process, discuss the proposal, and for the SMILE Land Use Committee to decide how they recommend SMILE responds.
6:05 – 6:10: Summary of existing zoning.
6:10 – 6:15: Summary of approval process.
6:15 – 6:20: Summary of the proposal (developer).
6:20 – 6:45: Questions and answers on the proposal (all attendees).
6:45 – 7:15: Discussion on merits of proposal (all attendees).
7:15 – 7:30: SMILE Land Use Committee decides how they recommend SMILE responds and discusses next steps (Committee).

The zoning change, if approved, would change how some parcels could be used. The size of allowable buildings would increase on most parcels, up to a maximum of 10 stories, typically, however, 4-7 stories are built. There is no development being proposed at this time. Environmental zones for the bluff would remain.
