Oaks Bottom Nature Walk

Friends of Oaks Bottom Committee Members, Joshua Meyers and John Sparks will be leading a nature walk at Oaks Bottom on Saturday, February 3rd from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. We will make a slow loop around the Bottom checking out flora and fauna, with some local geology and history thrown in!
We’ll meet at the Sellwood Park parking lot at 7th and Malden and take the trail down to the South Meadow. Wear appropriate gear for the weather that morning, and bring your own drinks and snacks if you need them. Binoculars will be very useful. There is no cost for this outing, but donations are accepted.
Family members and friends are very welcome, but this walk is not suitable for very young children except perhaps those of the portable variety. It’s OK to leave early if you have another commitment.
