Coffee with a Cop
Coffee with a Cop
“Coffee With A Cop” is an opportunity for local residents to develop relationships with neighborhood police officers and fellow community members. In light of recent national events, many people have questions and concerns about policing. This friendly and informal atmosphere is a great way to ask questions, voice concerns, discuss problems and craft solutions together. In the end, police officers and the community have the same goal: healthy, thriving neighborhoods that are free of crime, dangerous conditions, violence and the fear of such things. You are invited to join the conversation.

Fifth Annual Westmoreland Park Salmon Celebration
Fifth Annual Westmoreland Park Salmon Celebration
The Salmon Celebration at Westmoreland Park is an annual community gathering to welcome the return of salmon to the city of Portland, Oregon. Each fall we come together along the banks of Crystal Springs Creek to celebrate the renewal of salmon runs in the last undammed, unpiped salmon-bearing watershed in the city. The Native American Community Advisory Council to Portland Parks (NACAC) has been a partner with many others in coordinating the Salmon Celebration at Westmoreland Park since its inception and are excited and committed to continue this event for its fifth year and serve as host!
