Old Sellwood Bridge Railing Unveiling
The last intact piece railing from the Historic Sellwood Bridge is finally nestled at the SMILE station, where everyone can view a part of our city's history. The railing was part of a larger neighborhood project to create art out of the old bridge and at the same time, raise money for public education. Come help us thank over 50 volunteers and the local businesses who made the bridge project possible, and to see Sellwood Middle School receive a check for over $5,000. DOZA will revise the design overlay in the zoning code which applies to most multifamily properties in SMILE and will apply to most commercial properties beginning in 2018, so it will significantly affect development in our neighborhood.
