PDX ART CRAWL
This event is centered at the Grounded Gallery at Milieu Collective. It includes artists displaying at galleries and businesses throughout the neighborhood. Here's how it works: 1:00 - 3:00 Stop by Milieu (SE13th/Bidwell) and/or the SMILE Station (SE 13th/Tenino) and experience fun, interesting art exhibits. 1:00 - 4:00 Pick up headphones (needed for the art crawl) at Milieu. 4:15 Meet at the SMILE Station to begin the crawl (two stops along the way). 5:00 - 6:00 Meet at Milieu for Silent disco/ art fun. 6:00 Turn in headphones at Milieu. 6:30 Crawl to Sellwood Summer Concert concert (SE 13th/Bidwell).

Before your very eyes, she creates grooves and loops of flute, plastic bottles, rubber pigs, vocal percussion and harmonies, while squeezing her red accordion.

COMMUNITY SAFETY – NEIGHBORS TOGETHER TRAINING
This training provided by Portland's Office of Civic Life, is for groups of neighbors who are in close geographic proximity and have shared interest in improving safety in their area. Training includes opportunities for neighbors to connect with each other, learn about current public safety resources and processes, make a communications and safety plan about their safety concerns in their area. This training is available to anyone who may be sharing space together and wanting to work towards collaborative safety-related solutions. HOOD TO COAST RACE
Once again, the Hood to Coast Race will come through Sellwood-Moreland. Here are some details: Hood To Coast runners turn right from the end of Springwater Trail on to SE 19th Avenue, proceed .19 miles to SE Sherrett Street and turn left, proceed .57 miles to SE 9th, turn a quick right, and subsequent left onto SE Umatilla Street and right onto Willamette/Springwater Trail. We anticipate Hood To Coast runners to be on ‘Leg 12’ from 12:00 PM, Friday, August 26th until about 12:45 AM the following morning.
