Help keep Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge healthy with Portland Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Oaks Bottom. We will be removing English ivy and Himalayan blackberry to make way for native plant species. Please dress for the weather, wear waterproof boots (rain boots are recommended!), bring rain gear, and personal water bottle. Friends of Oaks Bottom Committee Members, Joshua Meyers and John Sparks will be leading a nature walk at Oaks Bottom on Saturday, February 3rd from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We will make a slow loop around the Bottom checking out flora and fauna, with some local geology and history thrown in!   We'll meet at the Sellwood Park parking lot at 7th and Malden and take the trail down to the South Meadow.
