This month's SMILE General Meeting is all about nature! Join us to learn about permaculture and healthy communities from local architect and activist Mark Lakeman, seed-starting from Master Gardener Carole Hardy, and gardening for native plants and wildlife from the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District. We will also hear a presentation from the Metro Climate Action Team on natural gas in our homes and steps we can take to keep our families healthy.

Join us for two SNAC Stewardship events that are happening at the same time in our Sellwood-Moreland Neighborhood! When:  Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10 am - 1 pm Location 1: Llewellyn Elementary School (outside)  - Organized + funded by Llewellyn PTA Spruce up the school garden, bring your plastics for Ridwell to recycle, make eco-crafts for family fun Location 2:  Springwater Meadows (corner SE 8th and Marion) - Organized by SMILE's Stewardship of Natural Amenities Committee Pick up litter, weed and mulch -- bring gloves + water
