2018CleanUpFlyer Neighborhood Event designed to help clean up our neighborhood by allowing residents to clean out that yard, basement, garage at a reduced rate. It generates revenue for the neighborhood association which goes directly back into the neighborhood with programs such as The Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Tree lighting, Sundae In The Park and for other youth or organizations group requests. We accept metal, yard debri, mixed waste, styrofoam, appliances and reusable household items. Look for very specific notifications of specifics in the Bee. 6:00 - 6:05 PM: Introductions. 6:05 - 6:55 PM: Discuss the Design Overlay Zones Amendments Draft Concept Report and outline recommended comments for the SMILE Board to consider adopting. The overlay applies to all of our commercial and multi-family zones. This is a reminder that tonight, the Sellwood-Moreland/Eastmoreland/Brooklyn Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) will be doing a training activity. The event will run from about 7 PM until 8:30. You may see our volunteers in their “gear” (orange vests; red backpacks and hard hats), traveling on foot from their homes to their designated staging areas. This is only a drill!
