PBOT Project Manager Rich Newland will attend the meeting to discuss issues with the new signal at SE 6th and Tacoma.   At this meeting Rich would like to hear some of the neighborhood concerns and comments, and he’ll tell us how they’re going to proceed. This will be the first step, followed by collecting new traffic volume and speed data, and recommending improvements or changes. A big paving project between SE Harold and SE Harrison (in Milwaukie) is scheduled to start later this year. Learn about the schedules for road closures and paving work, at a “drop in” open house hosted by ODOT staff.  More information available HERE.

Find out about how the new gas tax will be used to "fix out streets", including improvements within each high school cluster.  SMILE has been working with PBOT to improve the crossing at SE 14th and Bybee, but funding for most improvements has not yet been identified.  Here's a chance to voice your opinion on how program funding is allocated.  For more information, take a look at PBOT's website:
