605- 645PM: 2035 Comprehensive Plan Map Refinement Project Proposed Draft Report: We will discuss the Project and report with the Project Manager Marty Stockton. Changes are proposed to the Comprehensive Plan zoning for a few properties in North Westmoreland so that future zoning will be compatible with recent construction, permitting, and early assistance meetings. The City mailed notices to affected property owners. The draft report is at https://www.portlandoregon.gov/bps/article/655353, see page 15 for a list of properties. The Project retains RH zoning for 5301-5313 SE 19thbecause the Comprehensive Plan incorrectly will rezone it R2.5 but the current level of development is R2. Consider submitting a comment asking for R1 or R2 zoning instead to have the current development conforming and to avoid one RH lot next to R2.5. Decide on other comments to ask the SMILE Board to approve sending before the October 24 deadline.
645-715PM Improving Neighborhood contact: The requirement that developers contact the neighborhood will be expanding in 2018. The City is reviewing the requirement, see https://www.portlandoregon.gov/bps/74046. We will discuss how we think the requirement could be improved and forward our suggestions to Sara Wright who is leading the review.
