Greetings neighbors!

Summer has arrived at Springwater Meadows and the plants and trees we put in this winter are looking beautiful! Now we just need to give them a little love to help them get through their first summer.

Please bring your friends, neighbors, wheelbarrows, shovels, gloves and maybe a box cutter back to Springwater Meadows (SE 9th ave between Marion and Linn streets)Saturday, July 1st from 10am-noon. We’ll learn about the new plants growing on-site, do a little hand weeding, spread a little mulch, replace a little cardboard and set these plants and trees up for a healthy summer!  We will also sign people up for watering and mowing as needed through the summer and fall.

Our January planting day saw close to 60 volunteers; it was truly inspiring. Let’s see if we can do it again! Coffee and snacks provided!
