This Saturday, as part of Portland Parks and Recreation's Summer Free For All events, SMILE is pleased to host Bloco Alegria at Sellwood Park! Bloco Alegria is a community of people who love samba, and bring the music, dance, and culture of Brazil to Portland. Playing the heart-pumping rhythms of Rio's carnival parades is what gives this band its unique sound and vibrancy. The concert is at 6:30 in the meadow between the pool and baseball fields (near The Shack). Should be a beautiful evening, so come on out! |
