At our monthly meetings we discuss historical topics, share our research and resources, work on the building inventory and plan for future tours and events. We meet in the Hainley Room located in the lower level of the SMILE Station (SE 13th/Tenino).  Everyone is invited to join us.

Meet at the NE corner of SE Milwaukie and Reedway St.  Tour will cover the history of the northern end of Sellwood-Westmoreland and take a lively meander, before ending at SE Ramona and 15th. No registration required for the walking tours, which are free.  Dress for the weather!

6:00 p.m.            Introductions and Announcements. 6:10 p.m.          Discussion of Possible Sellwood Blvd Improvements – The committee will discuss the need for potential improvements to Sellwood Blvd along the Oaks Bottom bluff. The issue of pedestrian and cyclist safety along the road has been raised by several community members, but there are not currently any approved plans for improving the corridor. If there is enough interest, more discussions will be needed to develop improvement concepts.
