7924 SE 16th Ave. This is a proposal to remove a one story, single car garage located along the north property line and construct a new two story structure at the northeast corner of the lot. The new structure would contain a two car garage and an accessory dwelling unit above it. SMILE did not object to the proposal with the provision that a large tree in the yard be preserved.
Liquor license applications. There are two liquor license applications pending. Mocha Momma’s Good Coffee located at 6116 SE Milwaukie has applied for a beer and wine license; comments are due by August 27. Marsee Baking located at 1625 SE Bybee has also applied for a beer and wine license; comments are due by September 10. Contact SMILE if you have any questions or concerns and we can help.
5714 SE 15th Ave. This is the property proposed for subdivision into 4 very small lots. SMILE objected to this proposal on a number of points and held a neighborhood contact meeting with the owner and immediate neighbors at the SMILE Station on June 6. The action is with the City right now and we are expecting a decision or further discussion at any time.
