Bus 41 to be discontinued

We learned this week that TriMet has decided to discontinue Bus 41 which provides rush hour service between Sellwood and downtown Portland. This change will take effect in September, 2009. Despite a strong effort to save the bus line — a formal letter from SMILE, emails from riders, meetings with TriMet officials, testimony at public hearings — we were unsuccessful.
